A NEW book on the history of St Clears has been published.Originally written by former resident Wyndham Lewis, St Clears TheVillage When I Went To School 1924 -- 1932, has been re-edited usingold photographs of St Clears.
Mr Lewis, who now lives in Norfolk, said: "I'm delighted to seethe old book being brought back to life. I hope it brings a lot ofpleasure to the people of St Clears."
Now aged 92, Mr Lewis has been using the internet to communicatewith Alan Evans, the editor of the St Clears Times, in order tofinalise the publication.
The book is priced at Pounds 3 and is available online viawww.stcleartimes.com and West Wales Crafts in St Clears.
